Dr. Liwei Liu is currently an Assistant Researcher and Curator of the Agricultural Hall at the National Science and Technology Museum, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Civil Engineering, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), in 2021. His dissertation focused on an Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT)-based crop growth environment monitoring system, integrating rice growth modeling, rice blast forecasting, and field capacity simulation. His expertise includes water resources management, hydrology, precision agriculture, remote sensing, AIoT, and water-saving irrigation on rice. He was funded by Taiwan's government as a visiting scholar at Texas A&M University for smart rice production research.
